Wendy McKellar - Artist

Wendy McKellar - Artist
Wendy McKellar's artistic ability came from her "grammas". She spent hours of her childhood creating art. In 1989 she started working with interior designers, painting murals and faux finishes on walls, and she did this for 20 years. Growing tired of custom work, Wendy now creates whymsical etched and hand panted furniture and object art. She also paints oils on canvas. Colors3r@gmail.com

Nadi Spencer- Artist

Nadi Spencer- Artist
Nadi Spencer’s goal is to capture her passion for nature and life with color, living her life as a professional artist for 40 years. Her vibrant, close-up watercolor views represent a slice of the whole picture, challenging the viewer to fill in the rest of the story. Her acrylic paintings range from landscapes of the Sierra to 60- foot long murals that tell a much broader story. “Painting is magic and I want magic in my life every day. There isn't anything more exciting. I woke up this morning and thought - I'm living my dream life."To view Nadi's many paintings of the Hidden Gardens, click above on the picture.

Anne Lang's Emporium - A Taste of Three Rivers

Anne Lang's Emporium - A Taste of Three Rivers
In 1979, Anne Lang opened up a bakery called "The Staff of Life", where she taught women to bake bread. She also carried 200 herbs, spices and teas. While shopping for display baskets at a gift show, her husband liked the greeting card idea, and that's how the store became a gift shop. Anne's success is partly due to her genuine desire to help. "One day, a bride-to-be came in and asked if I could make a bouquet. I thought, 'I can make a bouquet', and that's how the store became an FTD flower shop. Then one cold day, a man came in wishing for a hot bowl of soup and I thought, 'I know how to make soup.' Next, a man came in hungry for a sandwich and I thought, 'I know how to make sandwiches.' And that's how the store became a deli." Anne Lang's Emporium has become just that – a place to find all your needs, a space of familiarity and a hub for our little community.
